FSN to Air Penguins Classics on Thanksgiving Day

by Staff Writer / Pittsburgh Penguins
FSN Pittsburgh is commemorating the Penguins’ incredible 2007-08 season with a Thanksgiving Day of special Penguins programming.

The first-ever NHL Winter Classic from New Year’s Day 2008 at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo will air at 11 a.m. and again at 5:30 p.m. The Penguins defeated the Buffalo Sabres on Sidney Crosby’s shootout goal before the largest crowd ever to watch an NHL game.

Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals, which the Penguins won in triple-overtime, will air at 2 p.m. and again at 8:30 p.m. Max Talbot tied the game late in the third period and Petr Sykora scored in the third extra session as the Penguins won one of the most dramatic Finals games in recent memory.
