Free "Training K-A-M-P" Set for October 9 for Youth & High School Hockey Players

The Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation and UPMC Sports Medicine are teaming up to present “Training K-A-M-P” on Saturday, October 9 at the UPMC Sports Performance Complex on the South Side.  The unique “K-A-M-P” (Kids Achieve Maximum Performance) will take place from 8:30 - 11:30 am and is free to youth and high school hockey players ages 11 – 18, parents and coaches.

The event will highlight training drills and skills assessment as well as concussion and injury prevention.

9:30 - 11:00 am Dry Land Training - Indoor Training Center
  • Athletes divide into age groups and perform a rotation of 10-minute drills
  • Performance assessments provided by UPMC Sports Medicine professionals

  • Sports medicine experts address injury prevention and training guidelines
