* The Pens meet the Carolina Hurricanes for the 2nd time in less than 2 weeks. In the previous matchup - in Carolina - Pittsburgh fell, 3-2, in a shootout. The Pens had a 2-1 lead late in the game, but surrendered the game-tying goal with 1:56 remaining in regulation before falling in the shootout. 

* Pittsburgh currently holds the 3rd spot in the Metro Division, 4 behind the NY Islanders for 2nd place and home-ice advantage in the First Round. But Carolina is only 2 point behind overtaking Pittsburgh for that position. 

* Jake Guentzel played his 200th career game on Friday. His 153 points thru 200 games ranks 5th all-time on the team's list. Guentzel has 11 points (6G-5A) in 10 games against Carolina. 

* Nick Bjugstad has goals in back-to-back games. Bjugstad (8) and Jared McCann (11) have combined for 19 goals in 28 games since joining the Penguins. 

* Goalie Matt Murray has a 6-3-1 career record against Carolina with a 1.87 GAA and .943 save percentage. 

* Carolina faces the Pens for the second half of a back-to-back after beating Philadelphia, 5-2, on Saturday.

We've Gone Mobile!

New this season, in an effort to ensure a ticketing experience that is more convenient, safe and secure for all Penguins fans, 8½" x 11" PDF tickets (print-at-home delivery) will no longer be a valid form of entry for PPG Paints Arena events.

If you do not have a physical ticket for the game, you must present a mobile ticket on your smartphone at the gate.

Primary tickets purchased through Ticketmaster are available via the Ticketmaster app or www.ticketmaster.com.

Fans that received a transfer from a Penguins season ticket holder or purchased resell tickets through Ticketmaster or NHL Ticket Exchange must visit 'My Penguins Account' to manage and view mobile tickets. My Penguins Account is available in the Penguins app under 'Tickets' or online at www.pittsburghpenguins.com/myaccount.

Mobile tickets will appear as a square QR code (see image for reference).

Important Security Reminders

For the safety of all guests, fans will be required to pass through walk-through metal detectors upon entering PPG Paints Arena. Only small personal bags (purses, baby or diaper bags, etc.) will be permitted inside the building and all items are subject to searches upon entrance. Large bags, coolers, backpacks and sealed packages of any kind are not permitted. In addition, PPG Paints Arena allows only small, personal still-cameras equipped with a 3 inch lens or smaller.
