Four-straight multiple-point games last week earned Evgeni Malkin the NHL's 'First Star' award.
Malkin, who led all NHL players last week in both assists (7) and points (8), helped the Penguins win three of their four games to move back into first place in the Metropolitan Division.

The NHL leader (tied) with 22 assists and the seventh-leading point scorer, Malkin opened the week by recording a pair of assists - including setting up Brian Gibbons
first NHL tally - in a 3-1 defeat of the Anaheim Ducks on Nov. 18. He followed that up with a couple more assists in a 4-0 rivalry-game win against the Washington Capitals two nights later.
Last Friday, Malkin ended a 15-game goalless stretch by beating the New York Islanders Kevin Poulin in the second period and adding an assist in Pittsburgh's dramatic 4-3 win.
Finally, Malkin collected two more assists - with one a great individual effort to split the entire team - on both James Neal markers in the Penguins 3-2 setback in Montreal on Saturday.
Malkin currently leads all NHL players during the month of November in assists (15) and points (16). He has points in 10 of 11 games this month.
