The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned defenseman David Warsofsky to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.
Tomorrow night the Penguins host the Edmonton Oilers at PPG Paints Arena at 7:00 PM in the first meeting between NHL goal-scoring leader Sidney Crosby and the Oilers' Connor McDavid. Both teams currently rank in the top-five in the league standings and are among the highest-scoring NHL clubs.
Pittsburgh is one of three NHL teams that has yet to lose in regulation at home this season (5-0-1).
