Penguins players Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Marc-Andre Fleury, Ryan Whitney, Brooks Orpik and Max Talbot attended a “Town Hall Meeting” exclusively for Penguins season ticket holders Thursday at Mellon Arena. The players took part in a question-and-answer session with broadcaster Paul Steigerwald. Also in attendance was CEO Ken Sawyer, president David Morehouse and general manager Ray Shero.
Season ticket holders received an update on the new arena project and other team initiatives from Sawyer and Morehouse. Shero spoke about the team and the upcoming season.
“We think it is important to continue to reach out directly to our season ticket holders, who are the foundation of the Penguins franchise,” Morehouse said. “We are fortunate that we have such a talented group of young players who have made long-term commitments to the Penguins and to Pittsburgh, and who are interested in community involvement.”
