Crosby Out Three More Games

by Joe Sager / Pittsburgh Penguins
Penguins captain Sidney Crosby plans to sit out another week to rest his sore right ankle.

Crosby, who missed the Penguins' game against the Buffalo Sabres last Wednesday, said he had hoped to return to the lineup Sunday against the Philadelphia Flyers. However, soreness in his right ankle from the high-ankle sprain he suffered Jan. 18, will keep him out of game duty for a week with an eye toward being ready for the stretch run.

He will not play in Tuesday's game at New York or Thursday's home game against Tampa Bay.
