The rankings feature 17 current NHL players as well as league and team executives, broadcast officials, media members, agents, international hockey executives and others.

Evgeni Malkin of the Penguins is rated No. 91. The Penguins, Detroit Red Wings and Calgary Flames are the only teams with more than one player in the rankings.

The top five are Crosby, Washington winger Alexander Ovechkin, NHL commissioner Gary Bettman, NHL Players Association executive director Paul Kelly and NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly.
