Brian Dumoulin Recalled by Penguins

The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled defenseman Brian Dumoulin from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.

Dumoulin, 23, helped the WBS Penguins earn a 2-1 win last night against Norfolk, finishing plus-1 with one shot.

The Biddeford, Maine native has played seven NHL games with Pittsburgh this season, scoring one goal. He has two points (1G-1A) and is plus-1 in 13 career NHL games.

Dumoulin has 10 points (2G-8A) and a team-high plus-17 in 23 AHL games with WBS this year.
