SUNRISE, Fla. - Colby Armstrong's goal gave the Penguins a 2-1 win over Florida in overtime Thursday night.

Armstrong, on a 2-on-1, roofed a shot past Ed Belfour 2:39 into OT to give the Penguins the victory. Max Talbot and Ryan Whitney both had assists.

Jordan Staal tallied a power-play goal with 3:35 to play in the first period. He deflected Evgeni Malkin's rocket slap-shot from the near circle pastBelfour to give the Penguins a 1-0 lead on a two-man advantage. Sidney Crosby added an assist.

Juraj Kolnik knotted the score with 2:19 left in the second period.

Jocelyn Thibault stopped 32 of 33 shots to earn the win in goal for the Penguins.

Pittsburgh returns to action Sunday in Tampa Bay.
