The Pittsburgh Penguins Booster Club will begin to sell their annual holiday ornament when the Penguins battle the St. Louis Blues on November 23.
This marks the sixth year that the Booster Club will sell a holiday ornament for the benefit of the Autism Society of Pittsburgh; and the second year that our friends at Wendell August Forge created a beautiful, handcrafted ornament for the Booster Club to raise funds for a cause close to their hearts.
Because the people at Wendell August Forge feel so strongly about autism awareness, they donated the set up and die creation for this charity project so our fans might purchase an affordable ornament for $20. Through Wendell August Forge’s generosity, our fans can take home a beautiful holiday item – or two or three – and help out a deserving charity dedicated to serving individuals affected by autism in the Pittsburgh area.
Fans may purchase the 2011 Penguins Booster Club holiday ornament during Penguins home games beginning Wednesday, November 23. The ornament will be available for purchase at select locations on the lower and upper concourses of CONSOL Energy Center, but supplies are limited!
