Actress Alyssa Milano and G-III Apparel are invading the CONSOL Energy Center. The duo have partnered with the Penguins and Aramark to sell their licensed fashion brand at PensGear, the official team store located inside Pittsburgh’s new, state-of-the-art arena.

CONSOL Energy Center is the newest destination for G-III Sports Men’s products and Touch by Alyssa Milano products for women sports fans. Milano was in Pittsburgh Friday to introduce her new Penguins-themed line of women’s clothing.
“(The Penguins) been very supportive of the clothing line, they actually approached us about it,” Milano said. “It’s been in the works for about six months now, and it’s just greatly rewarding to come here tonight and to see it actually tangibly in the flesh, so to speak.
“I’m very excited. We’ve actually had it available for the last couple of years, this is the first store we’ve had in a stadium. It’s been available at NHL.com for a few years. But obviously, to have a place where women can sort of go and be a fan and find stuff that fits their bodies that’s is cute and fashionable ... I love the fact that Pittsburgh stepped up to the plate and is supportive of the female fan in sports. A lot of times, the female fans get ignored.”
CONSOL Energy Center joins Citi Field, home of Major League Baseball’s New York Mets, as the second facility location to sell “Touch.” For Milano, her fashion line blends passion and style without skimping on comfort.
“I’m really fanatical about the clothes not only be fashionable—and the way we do that is we really start to try to stay on trend, meaning whatever is going to be big in the fashion world, we try to design accordingly,” Milano said. “But also, it’s so important to me that the clothing is wearable to games. … But I think as far as fashion evolves, we’re always going to try to stay on trend with our styles.”
Penguins fans were given a unique opportunity to meet with the famous actress. Season ticket holder Julie Graham won a 10-minute shopping spree with Milano, which will take place in the first period of the Penguins-Hurricanes contest Friday night.
Graham won the opportunity for the shopping spree by entering a contest with other season ticket holders. Additionally, the first 150 fans who bought “Touch” products this week won a chance to participate in a pre-game meet-and-greet with Milano prior to the game.
“I can’t even put it into words,” Graham said. “When I won I called my mom and told her. I’m so excited and nervous. It’s awesome.”
“I love these big events, these signings,” Milano said. “I feel very fortunate that my career has been very accessible to people. I always say, I’m like the eternal cousin because I grew up in people’s homes. So to come out and meet people, it’s great.”
Milano has starred on several long-running television programs. She appeared on the WB series “Charmed” for nine years, as well as Fox’s “Melrose Place.” Milano began her career on ABC’s “Who’s the Boss,” which aired for eight years. She’s also appeared in several films throughout her career, including “Hugo Pool” and “Fear.”
