A host of Penguins alumni members will lace up for charity on Tuesday, October 17 competing against the Pittsburgh Police Icemen Hockey Club at the Airport Ice arena in Moon Township.

Game time is set for 7:00 pm.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the family of Cpl. Joseph Pokorny, a State Trooper who was killed in action during a traffic stop in December of 2005.

Pokorny, a Patrol Unit Supervisor at the Troop B Pittsburgh Station, was 45 years old and the father of two teenage children.  He served several years as a volunteer coach for the Moon Township Little League.

The Penguins Alumni lineup includes Bryan Trottier, Phil Bourque, Joe Mullen, Troy Loney, Dave Hannan, Warren Young, Francois Leroux, Mark Kachowski, Kim Clackson and Penguins Assistant Coach Mike Yeo.  Penguins first-ever General Manager Jack Riley will serve as Alumni Coach.

Tickets will be available at the Airport Ice Arena entrance for $10.00.
