20th Anniversary: Penguins Second Stanley Cup

20 years ago today, on June 1, 1992, the Penguins hoisted the Stanley Cup for the second consecutive year.

The Penguins overcame a 4-1 deficit in Game 1 and went on to sweep the Chicago Blackhawks. Mario Lemieux took home the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP, becoming just the second player to earn the trophy in back-to-back seasons.
