During November and December home games, the Pittsburgh Penguins Booster Club will sell charity holiday ornaments for the benefit of the Autism Society of Pittsburgh. The ornaments were handcrafted by artisans at Wendell August Forge and each set includes three icicle ornaments, tied with a festive red ribbon and nestled in a custom box.
A limited number of ornament sets were also cast in bronze or copper and each set individually numbered, then autographed by Penguins players, coaches, and Penguins great - Mario Lemieux. A limited number of bronze and copper ornaments were created and each set is numbered. These beautiful ornament sets are the perfect gift for any Penguins fan!
Proceeds from the sale of the charity ornament sets will benefit the Autism Society of Pittsburgh, an organization in the Pittsburgh area dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by autism. The society uses funds to increase public awareness about the disease, to help those with the disease find appropriate care, and to provide the most recent information regarding treatment, education, and research about the disease to the local community.
