Wednesday's Panthers Opening Night headed toward sellout

by Staff Writer / Florida Panthers

Less than 2,000 left for Friday's contest vs. Tampa Bay

SUNRISE, FL – Fewer than 750 tickets remain available for the 2005-06 Florida Panthers Opening Night Game versus the Atlanta Thrashers at 7 p.m on Wednesday, Oct. 5. The Cats are also pacing toward a sellout for Friday's contest against Tampa Bay (7:30 p.m.). There are less than 2,000 tickets remaining for that game against the defending Stanley Cup Champion Lightning.

"We've been pleased with the tremendous response to the upcoming start of our regular season," said Chief Operating Officer Michael Yormark. "Tickets for opening week are going to be hard to come by in the next few days so we encourage our biggest supporters to buy quickly. There are less than 100 lower bowl tickets remaining for Wednesday and the game against the Lightning on Friday is a highly anticipated contest."

Individual tickets can be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets, charge by phone (954-523-3309 in Broward County, 305-358-5885 in Dade County and 561-966-3309 in Palm Beach County), at www.ticketmaster.com, www.floridapanthers.com and at the BankAtlantic Center box office.

Panthers fans can still purchase great season seats that start as low as $7 per game, as well as mini plans and group ticket packages by contacting a sales representative at (954) 835-PUCK. These packages include the best seats in the BankAtlantic Center for the most exciting Panthers games of the season.
