SUNRISE, Fla. -The Florida Panthers announced today that USA Hockey will be hosting coaching clinics for Levels 1-4 on Saturday, June 3, and the continuation of Level 4 on Sunday, June 4, at BB&T Center in Sunrise, Fla. The Level 4 coaching clinic will be the only clinic hosted in Florida and is one of just a few in the Southeastern District.

A speaker series will be held where representatives from the professional levels of coaching along with high-level coaches from the local area will speak to those in attendance. The Panthers have two representatives from their coaching staff speaking at the clinic including Goaltending Coach Robb Tallas and Video Coach Tommy Cruz.

"We are excited to be partnering with the Florida Panthers on this event. We are looking forward to a great event and are extremely grateful to have the Panthers staff excited to participate in it," said USA Hockey Southeastern District Coach in Chief Ty Newberry. "By educating coaches in Florida together we will be making a direct impact on improving young players, keeping them in the game longer and providing a fun and safe environment for development."

USA Hockey and the Coaching Education Program require both certification and registration to be eligible to coach.
