SUNRISE – FSN Florida kicks off the second season of its popular INSIDE THE PANTHERS series by telling the story of one of the Florida Panthers' newest acquisitions, RW, Todd Bertuzzi. Entering his 13th NHL season, Bertuzzi is a seasoned veteran who was recently added to the Panthers' roster as part of a trade with the Vancouver Canucks. INSIDE THE PANTHERS: TODD BERTUZZI, hosted by FSN Florida's Panthers pregame host and rinkside reporter Craig Minervini, premieres on Monday, October 9 at 7pm.

Bertuzzi has been playing hockey since he was a young boy and left home at the age of fifteen to sharpen his skills in Canada's youth hockey program. INSIDE THE PANTHERS takes viewers back to where it all began, Sudbury, Ontario. Sudbury is where Bertuzzi was born and raised and is also where his family currently lives. FSN Florida's cameras traveled to Canada to speak with his father Albert Bertuzzi and stepmother Sue for a personal account of his childhood. The program also met with Jim Rooney, his former high school principal and owner of the Guelph Storm, the team Bertuzzi played for when he was drafted into the NHL.

Fans know Bertuzzi as a competitive and high-scoring player but they may be surprised to find out that he is an avid golfer who is passionate about the sport. Fans will learn that he spends the majority of his time in the off-season playing with his golf buddies. In fact, he loves the sport so much that he became part owner of Rebel Creek, a golf course in Kitchener, Ontario.

Additional half-hour episodes are slated to air on the network throughout the NHL season. INSIDE THE PANTHERS: TODD BERTUZZI replays Saturday, Oct. 14 at 7pm; Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 6:30pm; Sunday, Oct. 22 at 8am, Thursday, Oct. 26 at 7pm; Friday, Oct. 27 at 2:30pm and Saturday, Oct. 28 at 6:30pm (ET).
