Thank You Fans: Panthers Top Penguins In Front Of Third Straight 18,000-plus Crowd At The BankAtlantic Center

SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment would like to thank its fans for their support during an exciting 6-2 win by the Florida Panthers over the defending Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins last night, and for filling the BankAtlantic Center with 18,000-plus for the third consecutive home game.

All told, 56,760 guests visited the BankAtlantic Center during the last three home games vs. Pittsburgh (18,110), Montreal (19,851) and Boston (18,799), leading to an incredible atmosphere for Panthers fans, and maximum exposure for Panthers sponsors and supporters.
Florida, now just two points out of a playoff spot, heads on the road for the next three games – all on Fox Sports Florida and 790 the Ticket – at Toronto on Tuesday, Jan. 5, Montreal on Jan. 7 and Ottawa on Jan. 9. The Panthers were led last night by Radek Dvorak’s third career hat trick and Tomas Vokoun’s 46 saves in the win over the Penguins. In addition, Nathan Horton continues to lead the Panthers offense, posting two more assists last night to go with 16 points in his last 11 games and 14-27-41 on the season.
