Sunrise Edition: Staying Busy

Tonight marks the end of another week at the BankAtlantic Center. It’s been a very busy five days as we have started the process of evaluating this past season.

Additionally, our VP of Event Programming, Sid Greenfeig, has been working hard to secure additional shows for the summer. We will have some very big announcements and on-sales in the coming days and weeks. Without a doubt, we are the premier venue in the market.

Personally, I spent a lot of time working on sponsorship renewals and new business as well as meeting with our executive management team regarding all of our summer initiatives. I also met with Panthers owner Alan Cohen to review a few issues.

This morning, I had breakfast with Jarett Levan, President & CEO of BankAtlantic. They are the model naming rights partner and have always been supportive of our efforts. Jarett has done a wonderful job positioning BankAtlantic for incredible success moving forward. Their customer service is second to none and they really care about our local South Florida community and all of their customers.

Tonight I am taking my wife and daughter out to dinner. I have not seen them this week as I had dinner meetings each night. I am really looking forward to spending quality time with them.

Next week will be busy as we begin our official countdown to Helsinki and prepare for the Fleetwood Mac concert on Thursday.

Thanks for reading, have an amazing weekend and continue to keep in touch with me at yormarkm@sselive.com.
