Sunrise Edition: Heading To New York

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I am at the West Palm Beach airport now getting ready to board my flight to New York. I have five meetings in the city on Monday. Two of which are sponsor related and one is at the headquarters of the NHL on Sixth Avenue.

It’s been a busy weekend. I spent a lot of time on SSE business but was able to do some fun things with my wife and daughter. We all like the outdoors and when the weather is as beautiful as it was today, there is no reason to be inside.

This is going to be a crazy week. I will be back in the office on Tuesday and have meetings and dinner appointments non-stop through Friday. I will be spending time with our executive management team to discuss many of the suggestions and feedback I have received through my blog. Please continue to send me your comments (yormarkm@sselive.com) as they are all very valuable.

I have not watched too much playoff hockey yet but I am pulling for our fellow Southeast Division teams, Washington and Carolina. It’s important to support the teams from our division. Washington needs to play better. Hopefully, they can get back on track in New York.

Well, my flight is about to take off. Just wanted to touch base with you and say hello. I will update you tomorrow on my meetings.

By the way, I'm flying Delta tonight only because I could not get on JetBlue. JetBlue is by far the best airline in the air. Their customer service, value proposition and reliability is second to none. Go JetBlue.

That's it for now. The doors are closing.
