Sunrise Edition: A Quiet But Busy Day

by Staff Writer / Florida Panthers
Sunrise Edition Archive

It's a quiet day here at the BankAtlantic Center as we have closed the office through Monday.
Last night I had dinner at Bova in Boca Raton. What a great restaurant. Incredible food and service and the atmosphere is second to none. I dined with Dr. Larry Kawa, the premiere orthodontist in South Florida. His office is located in the Mission Bay shopping Center at 441 and Glades. What a great guy. Not only is he a wonderful doctor and businessman but he is a really good person and has become a fantastic friend of the organization.
Relationships like this one is why I love what I do. In my position, I have the opportunity to meet incredible people who I can learn from and who provide me with great ideas and suggestions. It's just awesome.
Regardless of what each of us do for a living, we are all in the relationship business. And as we all know, relationships are a big key to success and they should not be taken lightly.
Although our office is closed today, it's been a busy day. Lots of meetings to attend and decisions to make regarding every area of our business. As I have said before, now is the time we do our heavy lifting in preparation for next season.
By the way, we have the 14th pick in the NHL Draft in June. Many people are saying it's a deep draft so we should get a pretty good player.
Time to get back to work. Thanks again for your continued support and please don't hesitate to email me ( your feedback and or suggestions.
Enjoy the rest of the day.
