SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment President & CEO Michael R. Yormark announced today a number of staff related changes including a reorganization of SSE’s executive team, promotions, and a plan to begin recruiting highly-specialized, technology-based positions focused on business trend analysis and fan experience, outreach and cultivation.
As part of these changes, Lou Partenza has been promoted to Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer and Matthew F. Sacco has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Chief Communications Officer & Government Affairs Strategist.
In addition, SSE will soon begin recruiting for technology-based positions in the areas of social media, CRM, information technology, business analytics and more. Interested applicants should contact the SSE Human Resources Department at email@example.com.
These business operations changes come on the heels of Stanley Cup Champion John Madden joining the organization as a Pro Scout in the hockey operations department.
“These changes will enable the organization to perform at a higher level as we work relentlessly to win both on and off the ice,” said Yormark. “They will also allow us to focus more on fan outreach and growth, while upgrading the overall guest/client experience during games and events, but also on a day-to-day basis. That said, today’s announcement is just the first step in a process that will also include future promotions and additional strategic hires.”
In his expanded role Partenza will continue to oversee SSE’s finance department and will now be responsible for building operations, human resources, the Saevology.com Iceplex, and more.
Sacco, meanwhile, will continue to oversee SSE’s communications and government affairs initiatives and will now add broadcasting and legal affairs to his list of responsibilities.
