by Staff Writer / Florida Panthers
SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment (SSE) and the Florida Department Of Transportation (FDOT) announced today that the Florida Panthers-Carolina Hurricanes game on Sunday, Dec. 18 will be “alcohol free” in support of FDOT’s “Drive Sober Or Get Pulled Over” campaign. The game is a Family Fun Sunday presented by your South Florida Chevy Dealers.

“The Florida Panthers are honored to support the ‘Drive Sober Or Get Pulled Over’ campaign with this unique initiative on Dec. 18,” said SSE president & COO Michael R. Yormark. “Our organization is committed to helping FDOT prevent impaired driving in our local community and beyond.”
In support of the campaign, all concessions on the Plaza and Upper Level will be closed for alcohol sales, including Svedka Bar and Panther Bar (Suite Level). All other clubs and restaurants (ADT Club, Patron Club, Black Velvet Lounge, Duffy’s Sky Club) are serving alcohol. The Black Velvet Lounge is open to all partons. Alcohol consumption will be confined to those areas.
The campaign is also being supported with public address announcements, centerhung scoreboard exposure, XFINITY LobbyVision messaging, live reads on Sports Radio WQAM, and more.
