SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that the BankAtlantic Center’s enhanced party experience for Florida Panthers home games has earned rave reviews through the first three games of the 2010-11 NHL season at the BankAtlantic Center. Thus far, the Panthers boast two big Saturday night wins in front of crowds of over 15,000 including a sellout on Opening Night.
“When our family became Florida Panthers season ticket holders we instantly had access to incredible weekday and weekend family activities. If you’re looking for some excitement with friends and family, it's a no brainer. We look forward to home game days and can count on excitement, live music and terrific special effects that keep my kids entertained and more. My Family and I enjoy the exciting atmosphere at the BankAtlantic Center on game days. Arriving early is a must so we can get our fill of all the kids activities out on the JetBlue Tarmac. There are loads of pregame family activities. Our kids dive into huge bounce houses, meet jugglers, balloon artists and face painters. We are hit with the energetic Panthers fan crew members, play video games and carnival-like games, raffles and sweepstake drawings for prizes. We love going to the games.” – John Mandile, Season Ticket Holder, Boca Raton
“There is nothing that beats the cool of the ice, the roar of the crowd, and the pace of a hockey game on a hot South Florida night. The excitement of watching the Panthers score, networking with other fans and cheering along to the great music has been a great addition to my social life. I make it my goal to support all of our games. Go Cats.” – Tambi Braun, Season Ticket Holder, Plantation
“My husband, daughters and I have been Panther fans since day one. We love our seat locations in Section 118 for we are in the heart of the historical Den Of Honor at center ice behind the penalty box. The camaraderie with the other fans in our section is terrific throughout the year and I challenge other sections to be as enthusiastic as our crew. Go Panthers.” – Alice Simon, Season Ticket Holder, Coral Springs
Highlights of the new BankAtlantic Center experience include a refreshed in-game presentation, new centerhung scoreboard graphics and themes, upgraded music and sound system, new staff wardrobes, the fully-activated Party Patrol on the JetBlue Tarmac with party vans and inflate-ables, a new public address announcer, in-game host and Panthers Ice Dancer team, a more intimate seating capacity of 17,040, and much, much more. These enhancements have helped make Panthers home games the most exciting live experience in South Florida.
To enhance the experience even further the Panthers have unveiled their new single game “Happy Hour Tickets” available on Ford Fridays. For $50 fans can purchase a seat on the Lexus Club Level and receive two free drinks in the Patron Tequila Platinum Club, in addition to free parking. Fans can purchase the $50 “Happy Hour Tickets” by calling 954.835.PUCK or logging on to Ticketmaster.com. Upcoming Ford Fridays are Nov. 5 vs. Carolina, Nov. 12 vs. Minnesota, Nov. 26 vs. NY Rangers and Dec. 17 vs. Buffalo.
“We worked hard in the offseason to analyze the overall Panthers game experience and do anything we could to make Florida Panthers home games more exciting for our fans,” said SSE president & COO Michael Yormark. “Thus far our new enhancements such as the more intimate seating capacity, fully activated JetBlue Tarmac and new game presentation have been a huge hit with our fans. Now we’re taking it a step further with our new ‘Happy Hour Tickets’ available on the Lexus Club Level.
“That said, we’ll continue to work all season long to find new ways to make Panthers home games at the BankAtlantic Center the best live sports and entertainment experience in South Florida.”
