Good morning and welcome to the latest edition of Rats Roundup!

The Panthers kicked off free agency with a splash, welcoming four new players to Panthers Territory! Sit back, relax and catch up on all the latest Panthers news!

Meet the New Cats

On Monday, the Panthers announced that they had agreed to terms with four new players: goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky, defenseman Anton Stralman and forwards Noel Acciari and Brett Connolly.

Bobrovsky, one of the most highly sought-after free agents this offseason, signed a seven-year contract with the Cats. To read more on the signing, click HERE

Plus, Frank Vatrano was so kind as to gift his number to Bobrovsky, of course after some negotiating.

Acciari, a hard-nosed grinder who went all the way to the Stanley Cup Final with the Boston Bruins during the 2018-19 season, inked a three-year contract, bringing some grit to the Cats' lineup. Read more on Acciari HERE

Connolly, a previous Stanley Cup Champion with the Washington Capitals in 2018, signed a four-year contract, injecting reliable experience and bolstering the depth of the roster. To read more on Connolly's career, click HERE

The Panthers welcomed all four players to South Florida with a police escort to BB&T Center, a welcome mural, and press conference on Tuesday. If you missed any of the press conference, you can watch it in its entirety HERE
