Well,
preseason hockey is back
- and we're just under a fortnight away from the return of regular-season hockey - so the light at the end of the offseason tunnel is getting brighter and brighter.
Speaking of the home opener…

CATS TAKE LONDON

The Panthers kicked off their preseason slate on Tuesday with a doubleheader against the Nashville Predators (which they split), and continued it last night in Tampa.
Sunday marks the first game outside of the state of Florida - and the entire United States, actually - when the Cats take on the Dallas Stars in London, Ontario.
If you're in the neighborhood,
you can get tickets here
, as the two NHL teams will face off at Budweiser Gardens at 3 p.m.

NEW STUFF

It's been an offseason full of change - a new logo, new uniforms and more - and now, a new look locker room.
The Panthers showed off the re-design across social media - highlighted by a giant logo hung from the ceiling - and it looks fantastic.

"It's super nice," Bjugstad said of the locker room. "I think they made it more personal to the team. They put in a lot of work. I think when you have a room to walk into like that it feels more like home. It's definitely something that you're proud to walk into."
Speaking of Bjugstad,
he sat down with FloridaPanthers.com to discuss training camp
, and the possibility of getting matched with some new linemates for the upcoming season. With three new forwards acquired this offseason - Jared McCann, Colton Sceviour and Jonathan Marchessault - and a horde of youngsters vying for a spot on the roster, there's no shortage of possible linemates for the big center.
