According to Elias Sports Bureau, Florida’s two goals 2:21 into the game were the fastest two goals to start an away game in Panthers franchise history. Florida scored twice in the opening 2:44 of a 6-5 OT loss in New Jersey on Oct. 30, 2000 and scored twice in 1:42 of a 4-3 loss to Carolina in Sunrise on Dec. 15, 2010.

Throughout his career, he has performed well after late-season trades – he notched 18 points (6-12-18) in 18 games to end the 2009-10 season with Phoenix after being moved from Colorado and posted 19 points (6-13-19) in 37 games with the Rangers to finish the 2010-11 season after starting the year with Phoenix.
