Welcome to the Panthers "Play Of The Week". Here fans can vote for the top moment in the 2010-11 season on a week to week basis. At the end of the season, we'll have our Top Play vote based on the top plays throughout the season.


Each week, floridapanthers.com will select the top highlights; including goals, saves and hits for you to vote on. Plus it's just another chance to see the best plays in one spot from the week past.

Take a look at the nominees below and choose the one that you think should merit "Top Play Of The Week".

Holding on to a 2-0 lead, Shawn Matthias finds himself behind the Toronto defense thanks to a pass from Michael Frolik. Matthias makes good on the breakaway, scoring five-hole 2:44 into the third.

With the Panthers killing off a penalty, Tomas Vokoun comes up big, first denying defenseman Brett Lebda and then sliding across and getting his left pad to stop Nikolai Kulemin 8:53 into the third.

Shawn Matthias returns the favor from an earlier goal by setting up Michael Frolik for a power play goal to give the Panthers a 4-0 lead 12:44 into the third.

Forward Chris Higgins causes a turnover in the Minnesota end and after several opportunities, including his own, scores to give the Panthers a 1-0 lead 6:53 into the first period.

The Panthers record their second goal of the game less than a minute after their first as Mike Santorelli scores a goal on a one-timer from Rostislav Olesz on a rush.

Cal Clutterbuck's shot squeezes through Tomas Vokoun's pads but defenseman Dennis Wideman keeps the Wild off the board after coming back and knocking the puck away from the goal line with his glove 9:31 left in the first.

Scott Clemmensen gets the initial save on Philadelphia's Jeff Carter and then Dennis Wideman clears the puck out of the crease to keep the score at 1-0 in favor of the Flyers 13:40 into the first.
