Welcome to the Panthers "Play Of The Week". Here fans can vote for the top moment in the 2010-11 season on a week to week basis. At the end of the season, we'll have our Top Play vote based on the top plays throughout the season.


Each week, floridapanthers.com will select the top highlights; including goals, saves and hits for you to vote on. Plus it's just another chance to see the best plays in one spot from the week past.

Take a look at the nominees below and choose the one that you think should merit "Top Play Of The Week".

After getting past the Atlanta defense, Stephen Weiss scores after out waiting Thrasher netminder Ondrej Pavelec just 1:13 into the second period, tying the score at one.

With the score tied at one and Atlanta buzzing the Panthers net, Tomas Vokoun first stops dynamic forwarder Evander Kane and then gets his right pad down to deny former Panther Anthony Stewart 6:38 into the second.

The Panthers keep the Thrashers hemmed in their own zone for a long time and are rewarded for their hard work as Marty Reasoner sets up Radek Dvorak for the eventual game-winner with 1:57 left to play in the second period.

Down 1-0, Tomas Vokoun continues to give the Panthers a chance as he denies Brad Marchand as the Bruins get a good opportunity just 32 seconds into the second period.

Already trailing 1-0 and having to kill off a 5-on-3 penalty late in the first, Tomas Vokoun comes up big, sliding over and getting a glove on P.A Parenteau's shot with 34 seconds remaining.

Finding himself open on the rush, Mike Santorelli takes the cross-ice feed from Shawn Matthias and picks the top left corner of the net, tying the score at one just 2:27 into the second.

The Panthers get the game-winner 39 seconds after Santorelli's shot as Chris Higgins drops a pass to Radek Dvorak who's slap shot is redirected home nicely by Marty Reasoner at the 3:07 mark of the second.

With the Islanders looking to get back into the game 4:51 into the third, Tomas Vokoun slides over to deny Michael Grabner, keeping the score at 4-1 in favor of the Panthers.
