Panthers VP Steve Ziff A Candidate For 2013 Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Man Of The Year In Fort Lauderdale

SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that Florida Panthers Vice President of Marketing & Brand Strategy Steve Ziff is a candidate for the 2013 Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Man of the Year in Fort Lauderdale.

The LLS Man & Woman of the Year Campaign is an annual 10-week fundraising contest in support of the fight against blood cancers and culminating in the Grand Finale on Saturday, June 8 at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66.

Steve’s supporters are also encouraged to attend his personal campaign kick off event at Timpano’s Ft. Lauderdale on Wednesday, April 17 from 5:30-7:30 p.m., which is free of charge and includes two free drinks and appetizers. The Florida Panthers have been supporters of LLS for the past three years, raising more than $400,000 during that time.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Man & Woman of the Year (MWOY) campaign is a fundraising competition in communities across the U.S. in which participants vie for the title of Man or Woman of the Year. They raise funds for blood cancer research in honor of local children who are blood cancer survivors, the Boy & Girl of the Year.
