Panthers Trade D Ric Jackman to Anaheim for Conditional Draft Pick in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers general manager and head coach Jacques Martin announced today that the club has traded D Ric Jackman to the Anaheim Ducks for a conditional draft pick in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
Jackman played in 22 games for the Panthers in parts of two seasons since he was acquired via trade with the Pittsburgh Penguins on March 9, 2006. The Toronto, Ontario native had one goal and one assist in 15 games last season for the Panthers and one goal in seven games this season.
The Panthers, 5-2-2 in their last eight games, are currently on a three-game, six-day road trip in Western Canada. Florida fell to Edmonton 4-1 last night, and will take on Calgary tomorrow night at 9 p.m. Sunday, the Cats travel to Vancouver to take on the Canucks at 10 p.m. Both games can be seen on FSN-Florida or on the radio at 560 WQAM.
