SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers have teamed up with Susan G. Komen of Miami/Ft. Lauderdale in order to host the “Pink the Rink” themed game on Oct. 13 against the LA Kings.
A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit Susan G. Komen. It will be the Panthers second home game of the season.
Breast Cancer survivors will be able to watch the pregame warm-ups from the Penalty Box. Fans will receive a complimentary draw-string bag with each ticket purchase for Pink the Rink.
“Breast Cancer affects 1 in 8 women,” said Cathy McCarthy in a recent letter to Race for the Cure participants. “Our mothers, grandmothers, wives, daughters, aunts, friends and co-workers…odds are you already know someone who has faced or is now facing this battle.”
A preferred ticket package is available for participants of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
To purchase please contact Rachel Toman at 954-835-7205 or firstname.lastname@example.org
October is league-wide hockey fights cancer month and the Panthers will also segment proceeds to the American Cancer Society on Oct. 25 against the Buffalo Sabres.
