Panthers' Tallon Guests On Thursday's 'NHL Hour'

by Staff Writer / Florida Panthers
Florida Panthers general manager Dale Tallon will be the guest on Thursday's NHL Hour With Commissioner Gary Bettman. The show, which encourages fans to call in with questions, airs Thursday nights on and on Sirius XM Radio at 6 p.m., ET.

Tallon, the architect of the Chicago Blackhawks' 2010 championship team, is in his second season at the helm in Florida. During the offseason, he brought in numerous talented players such as ex-Hawks Kris Versteeg and Brian Campbell, forward Tomas Fleischmann and goalie Jose Theodore. Those fresh faces have helped the Panthers, who are looking to qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2000, surge to a first-place tie in the Southeast Division with the Washington Capitals. On Tuesday night, the Panthers routed the Pacific-leading Dallas Stars, 6-0.

NHL Hour with Commissioner Gary Bettman broadcasts live on Thursdays from 6 to 7 p.m. ET on as well as NHL Home Ice (channel 92 on XM and channel 207 on Sirius Premier -- formerly known as "The Best of XM").
