Panthers Staff To Greet Fans At BankAtlantic Center Entrance Before Fan Appreciation Day vs. Tampa Bay

SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced that Florida Panthers staff including Co-Managing Partner Stu Siegel, President & COO Michael Yormark, General Manager Randy Sexton, team executives and sales staff, will greet fans as they enter the BankAtlantic Center for the Florida Panthers-Tampa Bay Lightning game as part of Fan Appreciation Day on Sunday, April 11. The game, the Panthers final contest in the 2009-10 NHL season, is also an HCA Family Fun Sunday and will feature a number a family-related activities and promotions.

In addition, the Florida Panthers Foundation will host its annual “Shirts Off Our Backs” auction in which fans will have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction to bid on game worn jerseys from their favorite Panthers players, and Stanley C. Panther, during the first two periods of play. The auction will conclude at the end of the second intermission. Auction winners will be escorted onto the ice after the conclusion of the game and each player will take the jersey off his back, autograph it and present it to the winning fan.
Other Fan Appreciation Night activities will include giveaways from SSE partners featuring Ipods, gift certificates, MetroPCS phones and service plans, roundtrip tickets on JetBlue, and more. The entire Bova Panthers Ice Dancers team will also be on hand to perform, while the entire game presentation will be geared toward fan appreciation.
