Panthers Sign D Adam Comrie To Entry Level Contract
by Staff Writer / Florida PanthersSUNRISE - Florida Panthers General Manager Randy Sexton announced today that the club has agreed to terms on an entry level contract with D Adam Comrie, Florida’s third pick (3rd Round - 80th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
Comrie, 19, skated in all 68 games for the Ontario Hockey League's Guelph Storm this season recording 40 points (14-26-40) while registering 79 PIM. In the OHL playoffs, Comrie finished with a goal and two assists in five games.
The Ottawa, Ontario native was only one of three Storm players to play in every game this season and led all defensemen in goals, points and powerplay goals (4).
