Panthers Seeing Red: Coke Renews Marketing Partnership With SSE

by Staff Writer / Florida Panthers
SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that The Coca-Cola Company has renewed its marketing partnership with the Florida Panthers and the BankAtlantic Center.

Coke, an original partner of SSE, has been with the franchise since its inception, and has had a presence inside the BankAtlantic Center since the arena opened its doors in 1998.
“Coca-Cola has been dedicated to this franchise from the very beginning and we are absolutely thrilled that they have renewed their partnership with us,” said SSE president & chief operating officer Michael Yormark. “With the launch of our new ‘We See Red’ marketing campaign, we’re excited to continue working with Coke – a red-based brand that inspires passion and loyalty from all of it’s customers.”
As part of this fully integrated partnership, Coca-Cola will receive dominant in-arena signage including the Coca-Cola Food Courts, television, radio and print advertising and pouring rights at both the BankAtlantic Center and the Iceplex – the Panthers official practice facility.
The six Coca-Cola Food Courts give Coke the opportunity to merchandise their products at the point-of-sale as part of their traditional signage package. The branding and merchandising package remains a best-in-class, in-arena marketing program developed by SSE and Coca-Cola to help market in-arena concessions more effectively. Coca-Cola products will be available at every BankAtlantic Center concession and served in official Coca-Cola cups, while SSE and Coke will also partner for a number of on and off-site unique retail activation opportunities.
