Panthers Recall RW Rob Globke from Rochester

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers General Manager and Head Coach Jacques Martin announced today that RW Rob Globke has been recalled from Rochester (AHL).

Globke, 25, was on the Panthers Opening Night roster to begin the season. He has played in four games with the Panthers this season with no points. In 49 games with Rochester (AHL), Globke has 19 points (8-11-19).

The Farmington, Michigan native has played in 41 career games with the Panthers over the past three seasons. He made his NHL debut on Dec. 28, 2005 vs. Boston and scored his first NHL goal on Feb. 4, 2006 at Atlanta.

Globke has joined the team in Florida and will be eligible to play tomorrow evening when the Panthers host the Montreal Canadiens at the BankAtlantic Center. Game time is at 7:30 p.m. and can be seen locally on FSN-Florida or heard on the radio at 790 AM The Ticket.
