Panthers Recall D Keaton Ellerby

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has recalled D Keaton Ellerby from the Rochester Americans (AHL). 

Ellerby, 21, earns his second call-up to the Panthers this year, after being previously recalled on Oct. 20. He appeared in two games with Florida this season registering two assists and two PIM. For his career in the National Hockey League, he has appeared in 24 games, all with Florida recording two points (0-2-2) and four PIM.
The Strathmore, Alberta, native was drafted by the Florida Panthers with their first choice (10th overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
Florida opens a home and home series against Carolina this evening, hosting the Hurricanes tonight at 7:30 p.m., before traveling to Raleigh for a contest tomorrow.
