Panthers Recall C Scott Timmins

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has recalled C Scott Timmins from the Rochester Americans (AHL).

Timmins, 21, has played in 44 games with Rochester this season scoring 10 goals with 12 assists and 16 PIM. The Hamilton, Ont. native competed in three consecutive Memorial Cup championships (2008-10), capturing the Memorial Cup with the Windsor Spitfires (OHL) in both 2009 and 2010.
Timmins was drafted by Florida with its sixth choice (165th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
The Panthers play their fourth game of a six-game road trip tonight in Toronto at 7 p.m. The game can be seen live on FOX Sports Florida and heard on 560 WQAM.
