Panthers Prospect Kenndal McArdle Invited to Team Canada's National Junior Selection Camp

McArdle Among Canada's Top 38 Junior Players

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers prospect LW Kenndal McArdle has been invited to take part in Canada's National Junior Selection Camp from Dec. 10-15, at the Father David Bauer Olympic Arena in Calgary, AB. At the completion of the camp, Team Canada will select 22 players who will represent them at the 2007 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship, which will take place in Sweden, beginning on Dec. 26.

McArdle, 19, has registered 23 points (10-13-23) and 79 PIM in 29 games played this season while playing for both the Moose Jaw Warriors (WHL) and Vancouver Giants (WHL). The Burnaby, B.C., native was just recently acquired by Vancouver on Nov. 30 after spending parts of the last four seasons (2002-06) with Moose Jaw. Prior to the trade, he played in 224 games with Moose Jaw scoring 83 goals with 98 assists and 389 PIM. McArdle, also attended Team Canada's summer National Junior Team Development Camp that took place in Calgary.
