SUNRISE, Fla. – As part of the Florida Panthers multi-faceted season seat owner renewal campaign, senior front office executives, radio and television broadcasters and players will make renewal telephone calls targeted at those season seat owners who have yet to renew their seats for the 2008-09 season. Panthers G Craig Anderson and C Stephen Weiss
assisted with the renewal calls last week, while G Tomas Vokoun and D Mike Van Ryn are scheduled to take to the phones this week.
“With the NHL playoffs in full swing, we felt that this was the ideal time to reach out and mobilize our season seat owners who have yet to renew for next season,” said Florida Panthers President/COO Michael Yormark. “These calls, particularly the ones from our players, have already had a major impact on our fans and have been very influential in helping us to close several renewal deals. It is our plan to continue these renewals call throughout the playoffs, as we look to eclipse our renewal numbers from last season.”
“I was very surprised when Stephen Weiss
called me last week regarding my renewal,” said Dennis Purcell of Pompano Beach. “Stephen provided me with great insight for next season and answered the questions that I had. It was very nice that he took some time out of his day to make the call and it proved to me that the organization was headed in the right direction, so I decided to renew on the spot.”
Panthers fans have numerous opportunities to renew their seats at variety team events that include team town hall meetings, Cats Cookouts and summer picnics, NHL playoff watch parties and many more events that will be announced throughout the summer. Season seat owners can still renew their tickets by calling (954) 835-PUCK.
