Panthers Make Roster Moves

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has recalled RW Michal Repik from the Rochester Americans (AHL). In addition, the club has reassigned D Keaton Ellerby to Rochester (AHL). 

Repik, 21, has played in 24 National Hockey League contests all with Florida, scoring five goals with two assists and eight PIM. He currently paces Rochester and ranks tied for second in the American Hockey League with 22 points (4-18-22) in 17 games played.
The Vlasim, Czech Republic native was drafted by Florida with their second choice (40th overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
Ellerby, 21, has appeared in seven games with Florida this season registering three assists and plus-5 rating. For his career in the NHL, he has played in 29 games, all with Florida, recording three points (0-3-3) and six PIM. Ellerby has played in four games with Rochester this year registering one assist and two PIM.
The Strathmore, Alberta, native was drafted by the Florida with their first choice (10th overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
The Panthers travel to Atlanta and will face the Thrashers on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. The game can be seen live on FS Florida and heard on 560 WQAM.
