Panthers Make First Roster Moves of Training Camp

SUNRISE, FL – Florida Panthers General Manager Mike Keenan announced today that the club has assigned D Martin Tuma, D Martin Lojek, D Filip Novak, D Grant McNeill, D Jeremy Swanson, C Petr Taticek, RW Greg Jacina, and G Phil Osaer to Rochester of the American Hockey League. The team also announced that they have agreed to terms with C Drew Larman and will assign him to Rochester (AHL) and that they have released RW Joel Ward from his amateur try-out contract.

The Panthers training camp roster now sits at 31 players, 18 forwards, 10 defensemen and three goalies. The Cats will train in Vail, Colorado for the next four days, before returning to South Florida for their first home preseason contest on Thursday, Sept. 29 against the Carolina Hurricanes.
