Questions can be found in bold. And if something needs additional commentary or clarification, it will come in italics before the player provides his answer.
And away we go.
Question for Peter DeBoer – I love this team with a passion no matter how bad they play sometimes. I was wondering what's going on with the offense?
Cassandra Garcia – Southwest Ranches, FL
DeBoer – “We've run through a few things here. The ast two games before the break we were definitely snake bit but before that we had some games where we weren't creating chances. We took 13 shots against Calgary and the game in Carolina I didn't feel like we created a lot. So it's been a combination of the nights that we have created and we haven't finished and other nights where we haven't done enough to create chances. I think the guys understand that we have to play more games like we did against Vancouver and eventually those posts will turn into goals.
Question for David Booth – How does it feel to be back on the ice for games?
Lorenza Nogueira – Milan, Italy
Booth – “I've been waiting ever since October 24th for the day so it's been good. Three months of waiting for it so it's good to be back.”
Question for Michael Frolik - Was there a specific reason that number 67 is your jersey number?
Thomas Neufeld - Oakbank, Canada
Frolik - “Not really. I always had numbers like 26, 28 but when I came to the Quebec Major Junior League, those numbers were taken by guys already on the team so they told me I couldn't pick them. I just like the number. It's nothing very special. I like six, seven, those numbers, but nothing of any meaning.”
Question fro Dmitry Kulikov - Where do you see yourself ten years from now?
Anna Silva – Deerfield Beach, FL
Kulikov – “I'll go with living in a big cottage on the lake, just living the life and hopefully still playing hockey.”
Question for Tomas Vokoun - What has been the most painful shot you've taken from a player in the NHL?
Parker Fritts - Lantana, FL
Vokoun - "We have pretty good protection. I don't think it's about who's shooting but more about where it hits. There's some openings in the gear so no matter who it is, if the shot finds the right place, it can be pretty painful.
"Playing this long, you don't remember all the shots. Some of them are more painful than others but I don't remember one over another."
Question for Stephen Weiss - I've heard lots of professional hockey players don't wear socks in their skates - do you or most of the team wear socks under your hockey skates?
Ariel Arnold - Pompano Beach, FL
Weiss - "Yeah I think there's only one guy that doesn't (in the league) but I do. I always have. I actually don't think we have one guy on the team that doesn't."
