The Florida Panthers Foundation will kick-off its annual food drives for the Cooperative Feeding Program in Broward County before Saturday evening’s game against the New York Islanders.
Players’ and coaches wives will be setup in front of the BankAtlantic Center collecting non-perishable food items to stock pantry shelves at the Cooperative Feeding Program. The collections will continue Monday before the Panthers play the Los Angeles Kings and Nov. 23 before the Panthers-Penguins game.
“The Florida Panthers and Florida Panthers Foundation are dedicated to helping our neighbors in South Florida,” said Stu Siegel, chairman of the Florida Panthers Foundation. “We believe in the efforts of the Cooperative Feeding Program and look forward to teaming up with them to deliver hundreds of Thanksgiving meals to those in need.”
