SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers Foundation announced today they will be hosting their annual Holiday Hangout at Chris Evert Children’s Hospital on Friday, Dec. 14th from 1pm-3pm.
“We are excited to bring some holiday spirit to these children that face hardship every day,” said Executive Director of the Panthers Foundation Andria Nolan. “A big thank you goes out to all the generous supporters that made this event possible.”
Panthers broadcasters Steve Goldstein and Bill Lindsay along with Stanley C. Panther, Santa Claus and Panthers executives will greet 100 Children receiving treatment at the Chris Evert Children’s Hospital. The children will be able to enjoy face painting, balloon makers and arts and crafts along with food and dessert served to everyone.
The Saint Anthony National Junior Honor Society raised over $1,000 and will be there to help decorate and participate in the day’s activities. Other supporters of the Holiday Hangout include Pediatrix Medical Group, Il Mulino, Jason & Nicole Molder, Tom And Drew Clothing Store out of New York City.
The Florida Panthers Foundation was recently named the outstanding foundation in Broward County as part of the 25th Annual National Philanthropy Day Awards.
The mission of the Florida Panthers Foundation is to build a better future for the children of South Florida.
