by Staff Writer / Florida Panthers
SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that tickets are sold out for the Fourth Annual Florida Panthers Foundation Face-Off Luncheon on Monday, Oct. 4 at the Coral Springs Marriott Hotel, Golf Club & Convention Center.

“We are absolutely thrilled at the support we have received for this year’s Face-Off Luncheon,” said new Florida Panthers Foundation Executive Director Rachel Brooke. “I want to personally thank all of our players, staff, executives, fans, partners and supporters for stepping up to help children and families affected by pediatric cancer. We’re looking forward to Oct. 4 and the best Face-Off Luncheon yet.”
The Face-Off Luncheon features every Florida Panthers player, coach and staff member dining with Panthers fans during a high-end lunch, in addition to incredible auction items, giveaways, autograph and photo opportunities and more. This year will also feature new Florida Panthers General Manager Dale Tallon addressing the attendees along with Panthers Foundation Chairman Stu Siegel and emcee and Panthers television analyst Steve “Goldie” Goldstein. Last year’s Face-Off Luncheon raised in excess of $50,000 for the Foundation.
Additionally, approximately 30 individuals affected by pediatric cancer will be on hand to enjoy the day’s festivities and interact with their favorite Panthers players and personalities.
The Face-Off Luncheon is the first of three pillar events for the Panthers Foundation during the 2010-11 NHL season including the Foundation Golf Tournament on Dec. 13 and Bowling Tournament on Feb. 5.
