Panthers Foundation Face-Off Luncheon Presented By AvMed Health Plans Raises Over $50K For Charity

SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that the Third Annual Florida Panthers Foundation Face-Off Luncheon presented by AvMed Health Plans welcomed over 500 guests to the Signature Grand last week and raised in excess of $50,000 for charity.

In addition to AvMed, the event was also sponsored by Mayors, Print Basics, Millenium Laser Eye Centers, BankAtlantic, Ad Graphics, BDO Seidman, Dex Imaging, Andy Frain Services, Cleveland Clinic, Cotton Traders, Anthony’s Florist & Gifts and Rooms To Go.
The Third Annual Face-Off Luncheon featured nearly every Florida Panthers player, coach and staff member dining with Panthers fans during a high-end lunch at the Signature Grand. The Luncheon was emceed by Panthers television personality Steve “Goldie” Goldstein, with speeches by Panthers General Manager Randy Sexton, Panthers Managing Director/Foundation Chairman Stu Siegel and AvMed Vice President of Client Services Frank Jantzen.
“I want to sincerely thank everyone who donated their time, effort and charity to make the Third Annual Face-Off Luncheon the best one yet,” Siegel said. “To our fans, players, coaches, staff, sponsors, presenting sponsor AvMed, and others – your efforts will go a long way toward helping the youth of South Florida.”
The mission of the Florida Panthers Foundation is to build a better future for the children of South Florida. Through philanthropic partnerships, grants, donations and community outreach programs, the Foundation maintains a focus on children’s health, fitness, education and cultural needs. The Florida Panthers Foundation is a non-profit organization that has donated significant resources to charitable initiatives since its inception.
