Panthers Draft Party Set for June 22 at Park Sports Bar & Grill

Fans Can Reserve Spot in Panthers VIP Den to Meet RW Nathan Horton; Cats Own 10th Overall Pick in 2007 NHL Entry Draft


SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers annual draft party will be held this year at The Park Sports Bar & Grill located at the Seminole Paradise in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Friday, June 22. The party, which is free and open to the public, begins at 6 p.m., with the draft being aired lived on VERSUS from Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio at 7 p.m.

Panthers RW Nathan Horton, Panthers alumni, the Panthers Ice Dancers presented by Sziro Jewelry, Stanley C. Panther and the Panthers radio broadcast tandem of Steve Goldstein & Randy Moller will all be on hand for the party. Panthers in arena play-by-play voice Bill Murphy and in-game host Kristen Hewitt will also take part in the draft party festivities.

“Our draft party is an opportunity for our fans to get together and take part in the excitement that surrounds our first round draft selection.” Sr. VP of Sales & Marketing Chad Johnson said. “At this year’s party fans will be able to take part in interactive games and meet Panthers players and alumni, while also learning about several of our new ticket plans that will be available for next season.”

Drink, food, interactive games and special raffles will be available for all fans throughout the evening. Fans can also reserve space in the Panthers VIP Den for just $40. In the Panthers VIP Den, fans will enjoy a free appetizer buffet, along with complimentary beer, wine and soda.  Fans will also have the opportunity for an exclusive meet-and-greet opportunity with Panthers RW Nathan Horton. There is limited availability for the Panthers VIP Den, with all proceeds being donated to the Florida Panthers Foundation.

The Panthers Draft Party is part of the Panthers All-Access Program, which has put Cats players face-to-face with fans all year long.
